Art-at-the-Cathedral celebrates the visual arts in Christ Church Cathedral, a historic house of worship established in 1796. Gallery Hop receptions are held in the garden in September and June and in the Great Hall in November, February and April.

The Gloria Singletary Gallery at the Living Arts & Science Center (LASC) provides exhibitions of exceptional quality and artistic merit. Accredited by the American Association of Museums and the second largest art museum in Kentucky, the UK Art Museum collects, preserves, studies and exhibits the best of humanity's artistic heritage. Located in the Mitchell Fine Arts Center on Transylvania university's historic downtown campus, the Morlan Gallery features six to seven exhibitions September through May. With special emphasis on contemporary art, the gallery draws works in a variety of media including video, sculpture, painting, prints, mixed media, installation and performance - from local, regional and international artists.

The City Gallery is located on the second floor of the DAC, one of the premier performance spaces in Lexington. The Lexington Art League curates exhibits for the space focusing on contemporary art in a variety of media. LAL @ DAC exhibits the work of some of the finest visual artists in Kentucky.

The Lexington Art League curates exhibits every eight weeks in the Mayor's Office on the twelfth floor of the Government Center in downtown Lexington. Exhibits detail local artists and are a testament to the support of the local government provides to the arts in Lexington. Exhibits are free and open to the public.

SIS-OH-PRO-MATE-M is the word "metamorphosis" spelled in reverse. Their mission is to help children develop into independent, creative, responsible members of the community through participation in the arts. Hop evenings are all action: live artist performances and impromptu art, music, poetry and song making by inspired Hop guests. Adults and children alike enjoy the energy and welcoming atmosphere.
